Fok the past few days the Government have had under consideration Sir James Pender's proposal for a duplication of the cable between New South Wales and New Zealand, but up to the present they have not arrived at any decision, and the question is still under consideration. Mkuiouun'i:, November 22. Official information has been received here of the death of Sipnor Carazo, President of the Nicaragua Canal Company. An important discovery of coal of the finest black character has been recently made at Foster, ISO miles South of Melbourne. The Presbyterian Assembly have drawn up a requisition to the Queen, praying for a veto of the Divorce Bill.
