THE FROZEN MEAT COMPANY AND THE BUTCHERS.

Auckland, Friday. Delkoatkh appointed by the retail butchers of the city au«l _ suburbs the purchasers of the J 1 reezing Company's business this morning, when more definite arrangements were made in the direction of settling the matters hithfttto in dispute, and with respect to a mutual arrangement for the transaction of business in future. The understanding arrived at i.< that the butchers shall buy from the Company a limited quantity of prime joints at prices agreed upon, on condition that the Freezing Company's retail shops shall be leased by tender with a provisio that the purchasers shall be members of the Butcher's Association, which it is proposed to have registered at an early date.
We have received the following telegram from Mr Robert Salmon, Auckland : — A satisfactory arrangement was come to to-day, between the Frozen Meat Company and tiie butchers, which, I think, will be to the mutual benefit of all concerned, including fanners.
