HAMILTON ROAD BOARD.

■ The usual monthly meeting of the Hamilton Road Board was held on Saturday 12nd. inst., the whole of the members being present. AI'I'MCAT'OX I'OK A DltAlX.—A lel/tur was read from Mr Uellicar asking tho board ta continue a drain from where it crosses the road at Mr Livingstone's to No. 71 peg, a distance of about 10 chains, to connect with a drain along his own road boundary. It was resolved that the chairman should see Mr Dellicar, and arrange with him about the drain referred to in his letter. Railway Reform Lkaguk.—lt was resolved that Mr Livingstone should represent the board in matters in connection with the Railway Reform League, as the chairman (Mr Jones), already represented the Hamilton Borough Council. Stokk.s' Bush Dkain.—The contractors having failed tn comply with the notice sent them re completion of Stokes , Bush dram it was resolved their deposit be forfeited and that the Board call for tenders for the completion of the drain, tenders to be in by the llith inst., and that Mr Sandes be paid £2 2s on his undertaking to see that the work be completed in accordance with the origional plans and specifications as prepared by him. O'Biuux's Road, Puketi!.— lt was resolved that Mr Saudes should lay off this road and peg the angles. Mystuhy Cuj;i;k Buiime.—Mr Atkinson was authorised to employ labour_ to repair tho approach on the To Rapa side of the creek. This concluded the business and tho Board then rose.
