Chicago, November 1 At the Cronin murder trial Gilletts, a Winnipeg convict, gave evidence to the effect that Jjurko had confessed to him that, he, Coughlan, Cooney. and A. Sullivan, decoyed Dr. Cronin into a cottage and clubbed him the moment he entered. The body, lie said, wax thrown into Lake Michigan, and afterwards taken out and concealed in a street sewer. An ex-convict, who was examined, swore that two years ago .Detective Coughlan tried to hire him to kill Dr Cronin. The trial is not yet concluded. "November 'A. Liourkc has been clearly identified as William "Wan , who rented the cottage where Dr. (Jronin was murdered. Mr Longuecker, State Prosecutor, said he did not believe Gilletts evidence.
