The. territorial revenue was £135,705, the estimate being £223,900. The following are the principal headings under which land was taken up : — Cash, 2GS selector.--, area 15,382 acres, value £10,754 ; deferred payment, LU7 selectors, 22,132 acres, £:W,500 ; perpetual lease, 422 selectors, 132,051 acres, roccipts.fi),422. IJesidiw these, l-<o village settlers have taken 1050 acres. The total amount received for special settlement land of all kinds was ,£5051. Pastoral runs were let to the extent of 3,0.V2,51.;i acivs, of which 2,3i)tJ,(iSo were leased iu C mterbnry to 08 individuals ; the receipts from this source were £1011,015. 40.200 acres of : till grazing runs were also let to 22 selectors.
