(by elkctkic telegraph.—coptrioht.) Sydney, October 7. Friday being the Jubilee of the Eight Houis Movement, a close holiday is being kept. A large procession will march through the principal streets of the city. Mkluovrxe, October, 7. There has been great excitement in the market, owing to tlie advance in the Round Hill Silver Shares from £10 1o £150. The inflation was caused by an it tempt to peg a corner in this stock, but the movement collapsed immediately. One broker connected with the corner has disappeared.
