(BY TELKGUArH.— OWN CORRESPONDENT). Auckland, Friday. Mr Upton has consented to accept nomination for the office of Mayor. If elected he will resign the chairmanship of the Board of Education.
At the Supreme Court to-day, re the Frozen Meat Company, an order was made that all claims be sent in by 30th October, fixing , November 14th, 1880, as the time for adjudication.
