CAMBRIDGE CHEESE FACLORY.
A mketinc of the members of the Association that have t iken charge of the above factory and of the milk suppliers, was held in the Borough Offices on Saturday afternoon. Arrangements were made for carrying on work for another year, which were mutually satisfactory to both parties, and, should nothing unforseon occur, operations will again be commenced on October 7th, with a guaranteed supply of nearly 400 gallons. One of the suppliers incidentally mentioned that he thought Messrs Reynolds and Co. were anxious to secure the factory ; and the gentlemen forming the Association at once expressed their willingness to give way and let Messrs Reynolds and Co. have the factory, as their only object in keeping it going was to keep alive an industry that is of material service to the farmers. The secretary was instructed to at once write to Messrs Reynolds and Co. regarding the matter, but up to the present no reply has been received.
