Concert.—On Friday night a most enjoyable concert was given hereby local talent in aid of the Presbyterian Church funds. It would bo almost invidious to individualize the performers, as all did their best and their best was very goud. Amongst the really good things wore, a song by Mrs Gard: duet (pianoforte), by MissGard and Miss F. Edgecumbo ; song by Mrs Baird ; song by Miss J. James ; duct, (pianoforte) Miss F. and Master i< , . Edgecumbe; song by Miss Grace Butcher; in fact they were all good. Mr Hill of Taupiri brought the house down on two occasions by singing comic songs with banjo accompaniments. There was a fairly good house.
