Auckland v. Otago

Thk football match between Auckland and Otago was played at Dunedin yesterday (Tuesday), and after a close game ended in an unsatisfactory draw, both sides scoring three points. Laing potted a goal for Otago while Rab. McKenzio scorod a try for Auckland and Jervis made the score even by converting it into a goal. This is the fifth time Auckland and Otago have met for supremacy on the football field with the result that each has won one game, tha other three being drawn.

This match will bo played at Ngaruawahia on Saturday. Hamilton will be represented by—Kull-back : O'Neill. Three-quarter backs: Hage, Kisher and L! aud in. Halfbacks : Hums, U. Mayes and Wright. Forwards : Cribble, l'oacock, .lolly, lleid, Cuynne (captain). Quinn, Cassidy, and A. Mayes. Emergency: J. Cillett.
