Council mot sit 2.30 Tim following Bills were read a first time : The Luting Act Amendment iii!! ; the Licensing Act Amendment Bill ; an Act to Make Better Provision for the Election of School Committees. On the motion of lion. Mr Wilson it was agreed that tho evidence in the WardChristie case be printed. Tho Koranui Reserve Bill, Wi l'ero Reserve Bill, and I'outntu Jurisdiction Bill were read a third time and passed. Tho report of tho conference 011 tho Criminal Evidence Bill was agreed to and tho Council adjourned at 5 p.m. till tomorrow.
