THE PAKURANGA HOUNDS.

Tkk hounds met at Bond's Star Hotel, Kihiki hi, 011 Wednesday,a good number of people being at the meet. A find was made, in Mr A. Henderson's farm, the dogs running the hare through tho township. Some good jumping was had over the limber gorso fences round the town acres. From here they went to Orakan, without any success on the way. Mr Hutchinson entertamed the larf,o party most hospitably, and on leaving three hearty cheeis were given for him and Mrs Hutchinson. J 1 rom Mr Hutchinson's place a drag was run as far as the Kihikihi school, some excellent jumping being obtained. Several ladies rode very straight to hounds. Most of the horsemen who "followed" were well mounted, the horses in most cases taking their fences in good style.
