New South Wales is to take two-thirds and the company one-third of any American contribution, and all postages will be returned by the colony subject to the adjustment of the share with New Zealand if the latter agrees to the extension. One of the conditions of the contract will be that only H iropeui crews shall be employed on tlie steamers.
