Admiral Fairfax has returned from a shooting excursion at the Thames. He found the pheasants scarce and tlie roads knee-deep in mud. Mr \V. L. Bright, son of the lato John Driglit, interviewed to-day, declared his strong conviction of the justice of the demand for Home Itnle, and said public feeling in its favour was growing in Kughind, and he spoke in thn highest terms of Mr Dillon personally. He said he would gladly have appeared on the platform with him to advocate the Irish cause if his visit find occurred during his stay in New Zealand. He leaves for the Hot Lakes at once, going overland to catch the Doric.
