A MUSICAL and literary outertainment was held in tho above Church on Wednesday evening to commemorate the anniversary of the .Sunday-School. Notwithstanding the inclement weather the Church was fillod, and we trust a substantial amount will be added to the funds thereby. The first portion of tho programmo was confined to the junior members, with the exception of an introductory address by the Rev. W. Evans; song, "The Little News Boy," Miss Lena Neal ; recitation, "The Careful Messenger," Miss Gertrude Brooks ; song, " Above tho Spire," Miss Lillie Sharp; recitation, " Cassabianca," Miss Lena Neal; chorus, " Exercise Song," children ; solo with invisible chorus, "Children's Voices," Miss A. Evans and children. Mr F. J. Brooks then read the Sunday-School report, which was satisfactory, showing a small credit balance. Song, "Tho Midshipmite," Mr H. Wilson ; recitation, "The Bells," Professor Lio Medo ; song, "Calvary," Miss Priestly; reading, " Chubb's Musical Box," Mr F. W. Cooke ; trio, "We are Spirits Blithe and Free," Misses R. and M.
