CHRISTCH URCH, Monday. Mr W. Andrews, captain of the East Christi'hurcli Football Club, broke his leg on Saturday, while playing against the Cliristclmrch Club. A meeting of the creditors of Waller and Co., Timaru, remanded here from June 7th, was held to day. The statement showed unsecured creditors £1,025 against which are book deb's £200, and the alleged surplus over securities is £753. It transpired that Waller had been a bankrupt in Auckland with liabilities of £5.0'i0 and assets nil, and had never obtained his discharge. A communication was to arrive from the Assignee there ; in the meanwhile the meeting decided to adjourn after appointing Messrs G. H. Whitcombe and Ulnery supervisors.
