THE IRISH DELEGATES
(BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH.-- COPYRIGHT.) Melbourne, June 15. The Age, in a strong article says : — " The republication of the Age article, challenging Mr. Dillon, one of the Irish delegates now in Australia, to account for the disposal of the League funds, by the London Times will act as a timely corrective to the false and misleading reports as to the growing success of the mission in Australia, with which Mr. Dillon guils his dupes in Ireland, and will convince the people of England ."that we are not such fools in the colonies as Mr. Dillon represents us. June l(i. The Spectator, in referring to Mr. Dillon's explanation re funds of the National League, says it entirely overthrows the contention of the Parnellite party, that the movement is conducted solely on constitutional lines. The League is unable to obtain funds in England without explaining for what purpose they are expended, the delegates, therefore, prefer Australia and America for collecting subscriptions, as, in those countries no questions are asked.
