PUKEKURA ROAD BOARD.
A jieuting of the trustees of tho above Board was held at tho Pukeriinu schoolroom on Monday evening. Present : Mr Lake (chairman), Messrs Anderson, Scott, Kusabs and Vosper.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed.
Correspondence.—Letter from Miss Hooper and others, requesting that Moorestreet be formed; letter from the Waipa County Council, re bridge at Walker's Gully. The meeting then adjourned till after the public meeting of ratepayers.
On resuming, it was resolved that Messrs Vosper and Anderson see what work it required in Moore-street and some othei places named, and report at the next meeting.
Accounts.—Giles'account for repairs to Bell's road. —Mr Anderson reported that tho work was not quite finished, but the account was passed for payment on Mr Giles certifying that tho work had been done.
Repairs to Roads.—lt was deemed advisable for the trustees to employ anyone they thought best to do any repairs that may be needed.
Meeting.—The next meeting of tho trustees will be held at the Pukerimu schoolroom on Monday, Bth July, at 3.30 p.m., the committee of the Pukerimu schoolroom kindly giving' permission for its use free of rent.
Collection.—The collector was instructed to get in as soon as possible any outstanding rates, and report the same at the next meeting.
