LATEST AUCKLAND NEWS

(IIY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.) Auckland, Monday. Very heavy weather is reported all along the coast as far as the East Cape, but no serious damage is yet chronicled. At a meeting of T. Leigh White's creditor's, a letter dated to-day from the bankrupt was received, and stated that he had not a statement prepared, and it was useless his attending. A resolution was passed instructing the Official Assignee to take steps to compel the bankrupt's attendance at to-morrow's meeting.

At Hitchens' meeting of creditors it was resolved to proceed with the debtor's claim against the Talent Medicine Company, for wages, etc.
