VOMINTKKIt AND L'Clif.lO TlAt.r,. —A. fill meeting of tin; trustees of tho above was held in tho hull on Wednesday evening, 'fiieie wore present,: Mr Ahior (chaii'maii), Lieut. Greshani, Mr Teasdnlc. Sergeant Orahairi, Mr Cm:; and Serjeant Woutherill. The plans and specifications for ceiling and lining the hall, as prepared liy Mr Armstrong, C.H., we.ro adopted. It was resolved that the necessary timber be ordered, and that Mr Armstrong be instructed to inspect and pass the same. It was stated that in order to allow the timber time to season the work could not lie put in hand for two months. It was also resolved that the chairman procure two Rochester lamps. These are of high illuminating power, and will greatly impiove the lighLing of the hall, further arrangements wc.re made for the fancy dress market ball, which is to take place on Friday, the 11th .Tune, and which promises to bo very numerously attended.
