Thursday.—(Before O.ipt. Jackson, 11.M.) Kkkp v. Iv us aus (affiliation).—Mr Hay, for plaintiff, applied for an adjournment until next court day, as the case was likely to lie settled out of Court. Adjournment granted. Kdukcumuh v. Gaukktt and Fkazhii.— Judgment, which was reserved from last Court day, was given for plaintiff for i.'!) Us !M, and cn.sts 2s.
Bisiciir v. McLkisii.— Mr O'Neill for defendant. The plaintiff in this ease sought to recover -L 7 for a cheque gi ven him by the i!"fi'll I■■ ull, which had not been honoured at the Bank. In the evidence it transpired that the cheque was a post-dated one, ami .Mr O'Neill contended that being such it was a bill of exchange, and required a Is
stamp. Plaintiff was non-suited, without costs.

UrVLTLKY.— Claim, €7 lis, for the trespass of pigs belonging to defendant on plaintiffs property. Mr May for phi.intilf, and Mr O'Nuiil for rlefondant. The evidence in this case was of a very contradictory character, that of the plaintiff going to .show that pipf.-i belonging to the defendant were on his property on January 22 and 2:!, and April lIS, 19, 20, 21, an:l 22, I.AS!), while that of the defendant was to the effect that while admitting the trespass on the l!)th April, on the other dates in question his pigs wore all in .sties on his property. .1 udgment was reserved until next Court day. __™_
