(BY KLKCTMC TEI.IKiIIAI'II.— C'OPYItICIIT.) London, May 22. In the action Greenwood v. Gibbs, the plaintiff claimed damages on account of injury sustained through the conduct of Gibbs, owing to which lie was compelled to relinquish the editorship of the St. James's Gazette. Mr Greenwood, m his evidence, asserted that he had reason to believe the Gazette was becoming the organ of Prince Bismarck. The jury disagreed. The evidence disclosed the fact that Steitikopf, who recently purchased tho piper, had negotiated with Dr. Rottenlure:, Bismarck's secretary, with a view of making the St. James's Gazette the organ of Bismarck.
