Band of Hope.—The usual monthly meeting (if the Tauwhare Baud of Hope was bold on Friday evening. There was a Rood attendance, and tho following programme was supplied by lncal talent :-bongs. Mioses Diproso and Miss Took, und Messrs Hraithwiiite, limes and Graham; All Hands Study," school girls; duet, Al\ss AToolc and Mr Braithwaito; piano_ solo, "Campbells are Coming," Miss Shaw; piano duet, Misses Letitia and Alice Diprose; piano solo, "Come Back to Lnn Miss Nellie Wai worth ; address by Mr Took ; recitations, Miss Grigsby and Mr J. Graham ; reading, Mr Driiikwater ; song, •' Hearts and Homes," by the Misses Diprose, was very well reudered, and gained a good round of applause.
