Mr William O'ttrien, M.P., and Mr E. Harrington, M. P., w ho were released from imprisonment in order to attend before the Times-Parnell Commission, arrived inCourt this morning. Mr O'Brien was dressed in prison clothes, having refused to put on his ordinary dress.

The examination of Parnell \vn;s continued. The witness explained that in the yeirlSSla speech delivered by him and quoted by the Attorney-General referred to the Ribbon organisation. He said he had never heard that the League had paid 100 guineas towards the defence of Moonlighters at Cork in 1881, but upon the Attorney-General reminding him that the subject was discussed in Parliament in 1832, Mr Piiniell said he had heard that the defence was paid for by the League cheque in the case of Connell, who shoi Leary, and admitted personally paying for the defence of some men charged with the committal of serious crime.
