At a meeting of the Wellington branch of the New Zealand Masonic Union it was stated that up to the present the proposal to establish a fraud lodge for New Zealand has been discussed by iS lodges, of which 1!) carried the resolution recommending its adaption. A deputation from the Ministers Association waited on the directors of the Wei-linuton-Manawatu Company, requesting them to cease to afford cheap facilities to holiday-makers, and land purehasors for .Sunday travelling. In reply, it was stated only one train would be run in future, and in no en.se will such a train bo advertised in connection will) land sales.
