(r.Y ELECTRIC* TELEGRAI'H— COPYRIGIIT.) Melbourne, April 2i*. Mit Mills, manager of the Union Steamship Company, has had an interview with the Premir.r on the subject of the .San Francisco service. He asked Mr Gillies if them was any disposition on the part of Victoria to assist in establishing more frequent communication with America, but the Premier, in reply, held out no encouragement that such would be tho case.
