Th kkk we.ro only about a dozen householders present on Tuesday evening to elect the annual statutory committee. Mr T. (i. S:uides was in the chair. Mr J. Knox, the secretary, lead the report showing a balance of ilO 17s. The following were elected on the new committee Messrs Hume, li. F. Sandes, G. Edgecumbe, T. (.1. Banaes, N, It. Cox, J. Knox, and I£. M. Salmon. At the subsequent committee meeting, Mr llume was elected chairman, and Mr Knox, secretary and treasurer.
