THE EASTER ENCAMPMENT.
[BY TELEGRAPH — OWN CORRESPONDENT. | Auckland, Monday. A MBKTINO of the officers forming the committee of management for the forthcoming Easter Encampment was held to-day, when the tenders were opened for catering. Mr E. T. l)avey, of Hamilton, was the successful tenderer to supply rations for SOO men, the price oeing !)d per head per day. Tenders for supplies for the officers have not yet been dealt with. Mr K. L. Smith is to keep the canteen.
