[BY TELEGRAPH.— PItKSS ASSOCIATION'.] Thames, Wednesday. Mu Mitciielson is here on business coonecced with native affairs. List evening he held a lengthy korero with the nativeinterested in the Piako block, upon which tho Government has advanced about £18,000. The result was very satisfactory, and the Minister expects that at another meeting to bo held on the 'Jth prox, the mitter will be satisfactorily settled. Mr Mitchelson returns to Auckland this afternoon, returning hero on the 9th prox, when lie will stay four days, and personally inspect the railway here as far as Piieroa. He will also decide then whether the probable receipts will justify a further prosecution of the work.
