Thomas Kitzpatkick, a lodgiughouse keeper, has been sentenced to fourteen days imprisonment by the Chief Justice, for obtaining goods just previous to becoming a bankrupt, by representing his wife's property as his own. Tlie Wellington Rowing Club h:ive had a very successful season. They have won all four championship race*, and out uf twenty-three events at recent regattas they have secured twelve, being second in seven. Their priza money amounts to
