H , J agger, "toreinan, and C. K. Madden, solicitor, was remanded. Honvy Spayne was sentenced to one months' imprisonment for selling a free railway pass. A man named Stewart, belonging to the barque Devonport, was drowned yesterday near HoUinnga, where his vessel was loading timber. An ajtion for i'oo,ooo damages has been raided in the High Court of Samoa, by Manuin and Frank Cornwall, who claim that sum from Messrs McArthur and Co., for the produce of four plantations, alleged to have been wrongfully seized and occupied by the defendants. Mr \V. J. Napier, solicitor for the plaintiffs, goes to Samoa on Monday.
