At tho Cambridge Athletic Sports held yesterday, the attendance was good, fully 500 people being present. Vaulting: with Pole.— Julian (Sft. llin), 1; D. Hannon (Sft. Bin.), 2; Ringa, a native (Bft. 7in.), 3. Julian then tried one jump at 9ft. 4in., which he cleared first try. Old Men's Rack.—Geo. Rose (Gyds.), 1 ; Wright (scratch), 2 ; Dillon (12yds.), 3. Thkkk Standing Jumps.—T. Seininens, (31ft. 2in.), 1; McNeish, (30ft. 10in.), 2. HfItDLU Rack, 200 yds.— J. Warren, (7 yards), 1 ; Arnold, (25 yards), 2; D. Craig, (scratch), 3. One Mile Handicap.—A. McFarlane, (scratch), 1 ; Turner, (25 yards), 2; Gailey, (75 yds.), 3. Won easily. Box thus won, scoring 8 points, Tickelpenny socond, 5 points, and McKinnon, third, 4 points.
