BAPTIST TABERNACLE.
TO TUB KIMTOIt. Silt, —There is a paragraph in your issue of to-day, referring to the financial state of the Baptist Tabernacle, Cambridge, which is contrary to facts. The Church is not in any financial difficulties, but is in a much better position than when I became its pastor nearly three years ago, as it can easily meet all its present liabilities. It is therefore, evident that the person who furnished your representative with that itom, has either beon ignorant of the state of tho Church, or has malioiously misrepresented it, with the intention of doing it an injury. I may also state that the Church at its last meeting appointed a committee to communicate with the parent Church at Auckland with reference to a new pastor and the future working of tho Chuuch.— Yours, etc. (•>.
