RANGIAOHIA ROAD BOARD.
The usual monthly meeting of the Board was held on Saturday, 2nd March. Tho following members were present:—Messrs J. B. Teasdale, (chairman) R. Burko, J. Cunningham, and W. H. Mandeno. Tho minutes of the last meeting were read and confirmed. Chairman. —The resignation of Mr W. Taylor was received with regret by the Board. Proposed by Mr J. Cunningham, and seconded by Mr W. H. Mandono, that Mr J. B. Teasdale be chairman, vice Mr W, Taylor resigned. Proposed by Mr W. M. Mandeno, and seconded by Mr R. Burke, that the chairman and Mr J. Cunningham sign all cheques of tho Board. Churches' Biuduk.—Resolved to call for tenders for this work, and the Chairman conjointly with tho engineer, was authorised to open tenders. Hea.vv Traffic. — Tho Board intend, at the next meeting, to take active measures in reference to the roads of this district having bojn cut up and rendered unsafe for the public! by heavy traffic. Road Repair,—A letter was received by the Board from the following ratepayers, viz : Messrs Peter, Collins, J. DeNattrass, J. V. Bryant, W. H. Short, Janm Henderson, Thomas Anderson, and W. S .rby, requesting tiie Board to foun and improve parts of the road from Biyant's corner to the Punui road near Mr T. Anderson's farm. This being the end of the financial year, and all the funds of the B .ard having been allocated to the different parts of the district, and as there are several works now in progress, the Board are unable to comply with the above request, but will be pleased to attend to the matter as soon as possible. Accounts.—The following accounts were passed and ordered to bo paid :—W. Given and Son, £2; C. S. McCallum, £1 15s lOd ; Potts and Co., £1; W. Bearslev, £0 Is !)J ; Coulthard and Graham, £2 4< od.
