Mr W. J. Hunter will hold a sale at Te Awamutu to-day, of horses, produce, furniture, etc. A reply to " Ratepayer's " query, under the hand of Mr P. Corboy, chairman of t he Newcastle Road Board, appears in another column. Mr (!eorge J. Xeal, of Cambridge, advertises eight tanks now clover seeds, from Kd. Webb and Sons, for sale, also ryegrass and cocksfoot. About four thousand sheep of various descriptions have already been entered for Mr J. McNicol's supplementary sheep fair, which will take place about the 20th inst. Mr R. W. -Oyer, solicitor, Cambridge, will visit Kihikihi on alternate Wednesdays, commencing on the 13th March, and also attend the sittings of the R.M, Court at Te Awamutu.
