A notico appears in the late gazette that the mines, plant and machinery have been m irtgagml to a certain R. Rose, for a sum of £10,000. At Karangahake, the Crown Mines Company arc getting the plant, manager's house, etc. together, and about two months should see both the Lainberton grinding mill and the Cassell Reduction plant in full work. The La Monte furnace is now in course of transit to Waiorongomai, consigned to the caro of Mr Howell.
