R.M. COURT, TE AWAMUTU.
(Tuesdat. —Before Captain Jackson, R.M.) Two of the boys who were implicated in the pranks played on New Year's eve were fined 10s each and costs 14s Gd.
Chek.se Factory v. H. Lewis.—This case which was adjourned from last Court day was decided in favour of plaintiffs, judgment being; entered for £21! 5s Id, calls and interest, and costs £1 10s.
Cituksu Factory v. (t. Wilkinson, claim £2 Hsod.—Judgment for amount and costs, lis.
Mandexo v. Kennaki), claim £3 13s.— Judgment for amount claimed and costs, Bs.
Delaxey v. Chapman", claim £214s Gd. Mr Gresham for defendant. This case was adjourned from last Court day, when defendant pleaded non liability under the "Tippling Act," Judgment was given for 4s cash lent and costs, £1 12s. This should be a warning to publicans as to giving credit for drinks to men who, in order to escape their liabilities, make use of the "Tippling Act."
