TE AWAMUTU.
Volunteer and Public Hall.—At a meeting of the Hall Committee on Friday evening, there were present: Mr Walton (in the chair), Messrs Gresham, and Teasdale. It was resolved that the entertainment to take place on the evening of the 29th January, should be a Fancy Dress Ball. As has already been announced in our columns, the proceeds will be applied towards the ceiling and lining of the hall. A meeting of the volunteers and civilians will be convened about the second week in January for the purpose of electing fresh trustees of the hall.
