|HY TELEGltAl'll.— i'KKSS ASSOCIATION , ] Naimur, Friday. A gihl named Eddie, playing with a horse on a vacant section, endeavoured to mount it. A boy threw his hat at the horse, which bolted, aiid the child fell with her foot in the stirrup, and was dragged for some distance. When picked up she was unconscious, and soon afterwards died. Inveroargill, Friday. The son of Win. Busstian has neon drowned in Jacobb's river, near Otautu, this morning.
