Auckland, Wednesday. Thk Supremo Court was occupied all today with the case Colonial Bank of New Zealand v. Richardson, to recover £1100 advanced to the Cambridge Dairy Prndnca Company. The examination of witnesses and the addresses of counsel have closed, and His Honour sums up to-inurrow inprGeorge Cluno was charged at the Police Court to-day, with uttering a forged cheque, and was remanded.
William Francis Dennis Super made a statement before the Official Assignee today. He stated that he was a bootmaker at Kihikihi, and owing to sickness in his family had got behind to the extent of £117. Ho had been forced to file by the action of an Auckland creditor. Hβ was aware that tliß money spent in filing would have paid his creditors Is 8d in the £, but an they had refused to accept 2s, he had no alternative. He had no assets, except about £15 worth of furniture, and a few book debts.
