Auckland Races.
[by telegraph—own correspondent.! Auckland, Monday. Tho Te Anau brought up from Christchurch to-day the following racehorses to fulfil their engagements at the approaching meeting Exit, Lochiel, Manton and British Lion. Messrs Butler, Clifford, O'Connor, Gollan and Drake were passengers. Mangaohone and a two-year-old colt by Robinson Crusoe were brought up from Napier in charge of Mr Munn. All the horses are in good coudition. Clogs has been backed for the Cup for small amounts at 10 to 1. Foreign-owned Kangaroo has been scratched for both Hurdle Races at the Summer Meeting, so that it may be recarded that he will not be brought up to fulfil his engagement in the Steeplechase.
