At the presentation of prizes at St. Patrick's College, His Excellency the Governor said in taking farewell he must say he thought the colony was to be heartily congratulated on the appointment, as his successor, of one who had been eminent iu the public service of England. Lord Onslow, he could venture to say, would take the same interest in educational matters as he (the speaker) has done, fur no one with his heart in the right place could view with jealousy the establishment of schools or colleges on a platform different trom that which he himself' occupied.
