The consideration of both these letters was deferred till next Board meeting.—-A letter from the O'crk, Piako County Council, asking if the JJujjrcji would ba willing to undertako the expenditure of the county rate on native lands in the Waitoa riding to improve part of the Piako-Cambrldge road through Maungakawa.—The Board resolved to undertake the expenditure of said (ijf.es amounting to £46 Ss (id as desired. Rkport.—The Engineer reported that T. Stanley had finished his contract on the road iu wis of Te Aroha ; that J. Orr lias his contrast <||) the main road near Morrinsville in a forward atate- that O.
