THE GREAT SOUTH ROAD NEAR MERE MERE.

TO THE EDITOR Sni, —As numbers of visitors will, I hope, bo drawn to look atWaikato this summer, ami many of tiiem no doubt will drive up, I think it is of the greatest importance that the authorities should, without delay, see to the road noar Mere Mere. The cost will not be much, but it is now simply hazardous to risk tho springs of a good vehicle along there. Tho other portions of the road are fur better than I expected to tind them.— Yours, &c. t T. B. Hill. N;?aruawahia, 27th November.
