THE NEW VOLUNTEER REGULATIONS.
[by teleguapii.—press association.] Wellington, Monday. By the new volunteer regulations the maximum strength of individual companies, exolusivo of officers, has been altered as follows :—Cavalry and Mounted Infantry, 80; Naval Artillery, 100; Artillery, 80; Engineers, GO; Rifles, 100; other corps, 60. The maximum strength of ali branches, exclusive of Engineer corps and offtcers at the four centres is to bo: Auckland, Wellington and Dunedin, 1140; Christohurch and Lyttelton, 940.
