THE EXPORT OF FROZEN MEAT.

Wis have received the following letter from the manager of the New Zealand Frozen Meat Company:— Sin, —Such of your readers as are interested in the development of our pastoral resources, will bo pleased to learn that the New Zealand Frozen Meat and Storage Company (Limited) has now definitely arranged with the shipping companies for two shipments of frozen meat from this port, the first shipment will be mado per s.s. "Tainui " next January, and the second per s.s. " Kaikoura " during the month following. In view of the recent advance in price as well as increased demand for New Zealand meat in the English markets, and as the consignments by these vessels will be landed at a favourable seasun on the London markets, it is confidently anticipated that shippers will have no cause to regret their enterprise. Space for 300,0001bs of meat has been engaged in each steamer, anil it is to be regretted that the shipping companies were unable to grant a larger reserve of space for Aucklaud, the stock growers having responded so liberally to the circulars issued by the New Zealand Frozen Meat and Storage Company (Limited), that the guarantees of stock which the company nosv holds would enable it to increase the shipments very considerably if additional space could be obtained, —I am, sir, yours truly, W.
