Tuhikaramea v. Hamilton.
The match between the Tuhikaramea v. Hamilton club 3, was played in Hamilton on Saturday, and was won by the Hamilton club, by 109 runs. Hamilton batted first, Barton (28) doing great execution for his club, and bringing on many changes in the bowling. Tuhikaramea then followed, only making 36, being unable to play Gaudin's bowling, before which seven wickets fell. In Hamilton's 2nd innings runs came quickly. Gaudin headed with 30, made in his usual free style. Tuhikaramea's second innings was les3 than their first, Hammond and Gaudin sharing bowling honours.
