STANLEY IN AFRICA.

(BY TELEGRAPH.— I'RESS ASSOCIATION). London. November 1. Several African traders have arrived at Zanzibar, and give tidings of Stanley's expedition. The main division under Stanley himself was well ahead, although the leader had been prostrated for some three weeks by an attack of fever. The expedition was largely impeded by dense forests and abounding marshes. The party was short of provisions, and had been compelled to seize what they could from the tribes inhabiting the country through which they passed. Information has been received that forty of Stanley's party were drowned in fording a river, and that all his white comrades had perished.
