4. HE AV Y S ENTENCES. (BY ELKCTIiIC Tlil.Kliii.U'tt— UOPYKIGHi.) Sydney, Friday. This prosecution of Salvationists at Woolongong tor inarching in procession is creating some stir. Eight officers were sent to gaol for three months for this offence. The press adversely criticise several of the sentences, and deprecate allowing corporations to exercise a control over religion by enacting laws on the subject.
