CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday, Wilson, a Salvationist Captain was released from Addington Gaol to-day, mid the Salvationists, with a baud, met him outside the gaoi, and escorted him to Cathedral Square, where they held an open air service in the presence of a large crowd. Hon. Mr Mitchelson left for the South this morning. He estimates the cost of repairing Sunnyside Asylum at £1000. DUNEDIN, Wednesday. Father Pnrton has resigned his charge of South Dunedin, and accepts service under Bishop Luck.
